Henfield is a nice little market town, Henfield dates from about 770 AD, Henfield overlooks the River Adur and the South Downs.

Henfield’s is a pretty dense Town it has a very friendly atmosphere and a strong community spirit. Henfield is a vibrant place with some worthwhile places of interest, Henfield has a good selection of Shops, restaurants, and pubs, also well worth a visit is the Henfield museum, located at the back of Sainsburys.

Henfield has lots of listed buildings. Henfield still has that old village feeling to it. Near Henfield High Street, there is a few twittens with cobbled lanes, Henfield has a Common, The Commons have a long history and  provide beautiful spots for walking the dog, relaxing and picnicking. Henfield Common is next to Swains farm shop where you can purchase some lovely local Sussex food and drink then maybe sit on the common and watch the cricket if the Sun is out!.

Being close to the edge of the Downs link, Henfield also provides a useful base for the South Downs and Woods Mill Nature Reserve, a good place for walkers, cyclists, families and local history enthusiasts.

Henfield still has a local fair on Henfield Common once a year, most important of all Henfield has some great places to grab a coffee!
